DJ&A is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater to join our Civil Engineering & Design group. You will serve as the technical design lead, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on projects from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of water/wastewater experience, a PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling tools like WaterCAD/WaterGEMS, EPANET, and SWMM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, piping systems, electromechanical systems and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience coordinating discipline work internally and externally.
• Operations experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the technical design lead on complex water and wastewater projects.
• Lead project execution strategies to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering analysis, hydraulic modeling, and calculations across multiple projects.
• Lead and prepare contract documents for bidding, construction, design plans, specs, and reports.
• Oversee Construction Administration including submittal reviews and RFIs.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of project deliverables.
• Develop engineering reports, feasibility studies, and construction cost estimates.
• Navigate regulatory agencies to meet code and permitting requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Support business development with technical input in proposals and client meetings.
