Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from planning through construction. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations while directing a team of engineers and technicians in water, wastewater, stormwater systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a focus on water resources.
• PE registration in California or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct design/technical development of infrastructure projects within water/wastewater, stormwater, including supply, storage, collection and distribution, treatment, and pumping/conveyance systems from planning and design through construction completion.
• Delivery of projects to meet budgets and delivery schedules per client expectations.
• Prepare construction documents, including plans and specifications.
• Prepare project cost estimates and schedules.
• Provide supervision and technical direction to a team of design engineers and staff.
• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams.
• Support or lead the development of proposals and client pursuits.
• Serve as a primary client-facing leader, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities.
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, permitting agencies, and contractors.
• Participate in relevant professional organizations.
