Job summary
Fisher Arnold in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced engineer specializing in Water/Wastewater to assist with the design of municipal infrastructure projects. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited university
- PE license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within six months
- 7+ years of municipal infrastructure consulting experience
- Demonstrated municipal water and wastewater treatment process design experience
- Proficiency with Autodesk Civil3D
- Hydraulic collection & distribution modeling a plus
- Strong technical writing & MS Excel/Word skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Responsibilities
- Design wastewater treatment, water distribution and storage, gravity and pressure sewer systems
- Conduct field inspections and coordinate with clients and other departments
- Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications
- Support project management within the Water Resources department
- Communicate project progress and findings to clients and leadership
- Grow with the Water Resources team and lead design efforts when appropriate
