Job summary

Fisher Arnold seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Jonesboro, AR office to design wastewater treatment, water distribution, storage, and gravity/pressure sewers. Responsibilities include field inspections, client communications, and coordinating with other departments while advancing in the Water Resources group.

Ideal candidate has a PE in at least AR/TN/MS or ability to obtain within six months, 7+ years of municipal consulting, and strong technical writing skills, with Civil3D

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi or ability to obtain in six months
• 7+ years of consulting experience in municipal infrastructure
• Must have demonstrable municipal water and wastewater treatment process design experience
• Must be proficient in the utilization of Autodesk Civil3D
• Hydraulic collection and distribution system modeling is a plus
• Strong technical writing skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design of wastewater treatment, water distribution, water storage and treatment, gravity sewer and pressure sewer projects. Other duties will include field inspections, communication with clients, managing work with other departments, and technical writing. This engineer will grow with the Water Resources department and have an opportunity to design and manage projects.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
