Job summary

Fisher Arnold is seeking a Senior Stormwater Engineer in Memphis, TN to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater design and related projects, including flood studies, CLOMR/LOMR applications, and drainage improvements.

The role will lead and coordinate project teams, prepare technical reports, and utilize HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, GIS and Civil3D CAD. Tennessee P.E. license is required or via reciprocity; a minimum of five years' independent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Active Tennessee P.E. license or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Minimum of five years of independent, responsible experience in hydrologic/hydraulic computations and design related to storm water.
• Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, GIS and Autodesk Civil3D CAD.
• Proficiency in Civil3D SSA; OpenFlow is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses for flood studies, risk assessment, and complex drainage projects.
• Lead design and construction plan production for site development and storm water infrastructure improvements.
• Design storm water conveyance systems, detention/retention facilities, water quality features and open channels.
• Coordinate the design team to ensure complete and accurate stormwater design efforts.
• Develop technical reports and specifications for drainage construction and analyses.
