Job summary

Fisher Arnold seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Jonesboro, AR office to design wastewater treatment, water distribution, storage, and gravity/pressure sewers. Responsibilities include field inspections, client communications, and coordinating with other departments while advancing in the Water Resources group.

Ideal candidate has a PE in at least AR/TN/MS or ability to obtain within six months, 7+ years of municipal consulting, and strong technical writing skills, with Civil3D

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi or ability to obtain in six months
• 7+ years of consulting experience in municipal infrastructure
• Must have demonstrable municipal water and wastewater treatment process design experience
• Must be proficient in the utilization of Autodesk Civil3D
• Hydraulic collection and distribution system modeling is a plus
• Strong technical writing skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of wastewater treatment, water distribution, water storage and treatment, gravity sewer and pressure sewer projects
• Conduct field inspections and communicate with clients
• Manage work with other departments and contribute to technical writing
• Grow with the Water Resources department and have the opportunity to design and manage projects
