Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a principal-level technical leader to guide senior teams on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will advance advanced process engineering, modeling, digital solutions, and innovative tools across North America.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and drive design quality, constructability, and risk management throughout planning to startup and optimization phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
• 15–20+ years of experience in water/wastewater, process modeling, or related consulting.
• Principal-level leadership with client advisory experience and QA/QC leadership.
• Experience across full project lifecycle from planning to operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical direction for wastewater processes, including design coordination and optimization.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, construction, startup, and commissioning.
• Mentor engineers and staff in process engineering, modeling, and digital tools.
• Support business development, client accounts, and pursuit positioning with senior credibility.
• Develop technical memoranda, design criteria, and senior-level reports.
