Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Industrial Water to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects and drive business growth across North America.

You will balance project delivery (roughly 70%) with client development (about 30%), mentor teams, and coordinate engineering disciplines to meet safety, reliability, and cost targets. The role requires a PE license, strong leadership, and excellent communication with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial water or related engineering fields.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial water projects of varying size and complexity within multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery performance.
• Develop and review scopes of work, cost estimates, and Division of Responsibility (DOR) matrices.
• Coordinate internal project teams and technical disciplines to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Apply technical expertise and professional judgment to support project execution and client success.
• Serve as a primary client-facing representative for key industrial accounts and strategic pursuits.
