Job summary

Orange County Government in Orlando, FL seeks a Senior Operations Specialist for the Water Reclamation division. You will supervise operations staff, coordinate maintenance, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include documenting system details, leading training, and developing procedures while maintaining safe, efficient plant operations. A strong background in utilities and OT/SCADA is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and five years Utilities related experience in Electrical/Electronics, PLCs, Instrumentation and Controls, Water/Wastewater, IT, OT, HMI/SCADA, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers and staff while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and support operation programs.
• Supervise personnel, set schedules, and provide daily assignments and direction.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures and policies for contracting and operations.
