Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will lead planning, coordination, and execution from preconstruction through completion, interfacing with owners, engineers, and field teams.

The role requires strong project leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory oversight to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with EPA/OSHA/SWRCB requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure construction projects.
• Solid understanding of treatment processes, piping, concrete structures and heavy equipment planning.
• Experience with public works bidding and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software listed above.
• Ability to read civil drawings, grading plans and utility diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes to maintain workflows.
• Manage schedules, milestones, budgets and cost controls.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
• Engage with owners, subcontractors, inspectors and engineers throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify issues and develop solutions to protect scope and schedule.
