Job summary

Anonymous is seeking an experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Estimator for Colorado Front Range commercial and residential projects. The role involves taking plans and specs to thorough, buildable estimates and pursuing winning bids.

The candidate will review civil plans, perform takeoffs, price labor and materials, and collaborate with PMs, subcontractors, and leadership to deliver competitive, margin-protective bids.

Qualifications

• Significant water/wastewater construction estimating experience.
• Knowledge of utility infrastructure.
• Experience estimating projects in the Colorado Front Range.
• Strong bid analysis and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for water/wastewater projects.
• Review plans, specs, and scopes of work.
• Takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
• Develop competitive bids to protect margins.
• Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, vendors, and leadership.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks.
