Job summary

Iron Woman Construction and Environmental Services LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator based in our Denver, Colorado (Centennial) office. The role focuses on civil construction with an emphasis on Wet Utilities (Water, Sewer, Storm Sewer) and developing cost estimates for large municipal infrastructure projects in the Denver Metropolitan Area.

You will lead bid strategy from preconstruction through submission, coordinate with operations, and perform takeoffs and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering or construction degree or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of estimating civil construction experience.
• Experience on projects valued over $2 million preferred.
• Strong MS Office and estimating software skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimate procedure from strategy review through bid submission.
• Review plans and specs; perform takeoffs and risk analysis.
• Coordinate bid communications with owners, engineers, and subs.
• Develop win strategies with operations and lead the bid team.
• Prepare preconstruction schedules and manage cost data.
• Identify MWBE/DBE partnerships and value-engineering opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of estimating tech and industry practices.
