Job summary

A leading construction firm based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an Estimator to assist in the bid/estimating process for various water and wastewater treatment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes, and ensuring project estimates are accurate. A Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is required, alongside five years of construction experience, including two in estimating. Qualifications

• Minimum of five years construction experience, with at least two years estimating in the water/wastewater or heavy civil industry.
• Design-build and Construction Manager at risk experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs and apply labor man-hours to estimates.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids for quality and cost.
