Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an experienced Sr. Engineer for Water/Wastewater Linear Infrastructure projects in Texas, based near Houston with a flexible hybrid work setup.

You will lead design and project management for large-diameter pipelines, trenchless designs, rehab, and related studies, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients. You will advance One Water strategy, manage client relationships, and drive quality across planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 8–15 years’ experience and PM/supervisory exposure.
• Proven expertise in water and/or wastewater pipeline design.
• PE licensure in TX, or reciprocity with a 6‑month path.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Civil3D and related design software.

Responsibilities

• Help shape, win, and deliver water and water infrastructure projects across Texas.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with priority clients in the Texas Region.
• Maintain a hands-on role in project execution while leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to development of our One Water Market strategy, planning and delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in design concept development.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and other disciplines; review investigations and plans.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, schedules and budgets; manage projects.
