Job summary

Egis seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in its Austin, TX office to lead planning, design, and delivery of pipeline infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support project execution from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of engineering design experience, with a focus on pipeline infrastructure.
• Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and production of pipeline infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform pipeline design, alignment evaluations, hydraulic analyses, and utility coordination.
• Oversee design quality and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers.
• Support project management activities including scope, schedule, and budgets.
