Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead our Water and Wastewater practice in Louisville or Lexington. You will guide technical design, support staff, and help grow the statewide water/wastewater portfolio.

You will work on high-profile projects, oversee design to construction closeout, and shape growth strategy for the region while mentoring project teams and fostering client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university; master's preferred.
• 10+ years with water/wastewater design and construction in consulting.
• Professional Engineer license in Kentucky or reciprocity.
• Experience with water/wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, conveyance, or treatment.
• Leadership of design teams and multidisciplinary delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract document preparation: plans and specs.
• Design water/wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
• Perform hydraulic, pump, and curve calculations; develop sizing.
• Provide technical direction and QC for engineers and designers.
• Manage tasks, scopes, budgets, and scheduling; coordinate teams.
• Act as technical and client-facing representative in meetings.
