Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Louisville or Lexington, Kentucky to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects while growing our Kentucky practice.

The role involves managing projects from planning through construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff, with responsibilities in business development, proposals, and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant water and wastewater engineering experience, including project management, design, and construction administration in a consulting environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with Kentucky registration or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Strong technical background in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including planning, design, bidding, and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, bidding, and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Lead projects involving water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping stations, and water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight of engineering analyses, system modeling, design calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and review deliverables for technical quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Serve as a primary client contact and participate in client meetings, public meetings, and site visits.
• Coordinate permitting and approvals with regulatory agencies and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance and manage changes to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to expand STV's services throughout Kentucky.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, and client presentations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the professional development of project staff.
