STV, Inc. seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Water and Wastewater practice in Louisville or Lexington, KY. You will provide technical leadership, support staff, and help grow the practice across the state.

You will lead project cycles from planning through construction closeout, mentor staff, and engage in client collaboration and business development for high-profile national and international projects.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in design and construction administration of water/wastewater utility projects in a consulting environment.
• P.E. license in Kentucky or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong client relationships and business-development involvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead contract document preparation (plans and specs).
• Design water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage and treatment systems.
• Perform hydraulic and pump calculations; develop curve for pump sizing.
• Estimate construction costs; provide QA/QC for team.
• Mentor junior engineers; manage scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and coordination efforts.
• Support business development, proposals, and interviews.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction and verify design intent.
