HDR is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in California to lead municipal water and wastewater projects. You will serve as a technical expert, guide junior staff, and collaborate with project teams to deliver design and construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience with municipal water and wastewater systems planning and design.
• Professional Engineer license (PE/P.Eng) required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation and hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert in water/wastewater planning, design, and construction.
• Prepare and guide junior staff on design plans for major projects.
• Create detailed sketches and drawings for municipal water or wastewater.
• Oversee design, inspection, construction, and contract documents.
• Report on contracts and estimates; recommend awards.
• Collaborate with project managers for reviews and client meetings.
