Job summary

Three Notch Group seeks an Engineer IV to lead our Utility Practice in Asheville or Charlotte, NC. You will act as a senior technical and client leader, delivering constructible water and wastewater projects while guiding staff and building client relationships.

The role requires NC-registered PE, extensive water/wastewater design experience, and strong leadership. Expect collaboration with regional leadership and occasional travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• NC-registered Professional Engineer required.
• Experience designing water and wastewater facilities.
• Proven project management and client leadership.
• Ability to travel to local client sites; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical and client leader for the Utility Practice in NC.
• Lead delivery of constructible water and wastewater documents.
• Develop staff to support client and regional growth.
• Manage complex multidisciplinary projects within budget and schedule.
• Mentor engineers and support licensure progression.
• Engage with municipal clients and professional organizations.
