Job summary

Clark Water Group seeks a Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations on water/wastewater projects, ensuring work conforms to contract documents and the project schedule. You will lead safety programs, manage costs, and coordinate with subcontractors on a dynamic site.

Ideal candidates bring 8-10+ years of relevant experience, a related degree, and a strong track record delivering federal or complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline
• 8-10+ years of water/wastewater construction experience with a large contractor or equivalent
• Experience building federal or government projects
• In depth knowledge of construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower
• Demonstrated ability to lead field operations
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations (i.e., OSHA)

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely and cost-effective installation of contracted work for the project or scope
• Provide on-the-job training for Assistant Superintendents and Engineers
• Develop sequence of work, schedule & organize project work to meet contract documents
• Know contract documents, subcontracts and purchase orders
• Track critical path material delivery dates and submittal schedule
• Update project schedule monthly
• Control field costs and supervise field workforce
• Schedule and monitor field productivity
• Implement safety and QC policies and programs
• Assist in resolution of scope conflicts
• Participate in project management functions
• Ensure punch list is completed timely
• Participate in marketing proposals and presentations
