Job summary

Clark Construction Group is hiring a Superintendent (Water/Wastewater) to lead field operations in Nashville, TN; Virginia Beach, VA; and Tampa, FL. You will oversee self-performed and contracted work, ensure safety and quality, and drive project schedules to successful completion.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years on large-scale commercial projects, 2+ years of team leadership, and a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for whole project or parts of it.
• Instill culture of safety and quality among Clark employees and trade contractors; conduct regular safety inspections.
• Create and manage a plan to sequence work, manage jobsite logistics, and track materials and personnel.
• Ensure high quality aligned with project and company standards and manage project schedule.
• Develop, update, and communicate the project schedule with stakeholders; monitor critical milestones.
• Mentor and develop team members; build and maintain project relationships.
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and training.
• Proactively identify relationships with industry professionals to win the right work.
