Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Senior Utility Service Worker to operate equipment and perform semi-skilled tasks related to water utility installation, construction, repair, and maintenance. The role involves handling service connections, meters, hydrants and backflow devices, with CDL requirements in Georgia.

You will work with trucks and construction machinery, perform manual field tasks, and maintain records and communications with colleagues and the public as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of construction/maintenance experience in plumbing, water distribution or related field.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License.
• Requires possession and maintenance of a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs water mains, water service connections, meters, hydrants, and backflow devices.
• Operates equipment used in construction, maintenance and repair of water utility systems.
• Performs manual work such as digging, trenching, pipe installation, leaks repair and material handling.
• Maintains equipment, checks supplies, and documents work orders and reports.
• Communicates with staff, officials, and public to provide service information.
