Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. is seeking a Water Utility Electrician to perform skilled electrical work at water and wastewater sites in Goodyear, AZ. You will install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years of experience, and a preferred electrical apprenticeship or license (480V+). Strong safety focus and knowledge of NEC/ADOSH are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4+ years experience in water/wastewater electrical work.
• Electrical apprenticeship or technical program preferred; 480V+ experience.
• Arizona Electrical Contractor License C-11 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems at water and wastewater facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and minimize downtime.
• Inspect components to ensure NEC/ADOSH compliance.
• Work with MCC panels, PLCs, VFDs and SCADA; perform preventive maintenance.
• Read schematics and blueprints; maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with AZ Admin Code for water systems.
• Implement LOTO and OSHA safety practices in hazardous environments.
• Respond to emergency calls; keep records of work and parts.
