Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a skilled Operator to operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities in our Hollister, CA area. The role focuses on ensuring purification processes meet permit and operational requirements while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

The position requires five+ years of related experience and an Associate’s degree in a science/technical field is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Over five years of experience in water/wastewater treatment.
• Associate's degree in a science or technical field strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience operating and maintaining water/wastewater treatment equipment and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water/wastewater treatment equipment and processes.
• Record operating data and troubleshoot issues per procedures.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Conduct field tests and lab analyses to support process control.
• Assist in safety and environmental compliance responsibilities.
