City of Harlingen Waterworks System seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and perform semi-skilled to skilled work in water treatment facilities. You will ensure repairs meet plans, procedures, and TCEQ guidelines while guiding the team and reporting issues to the Water Services Director.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of maintenance and supervisory experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain licenses (C Surface Water, CSI, BPAT).

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant Maintenance.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Must possess or obtain Class C Surface Water, CSI and BPAT licenses within allotted timeframe.
• Valid Class B Texas Driver License required.

Mansioni

• Oversee maintenance, repair and installation of plant equipment, structures and machinery to ensure work aligns with plans and procedures.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff or other assigned personnel.
• Provide independent judgement within established procedures; report maintenance issues to Water Services Director.
