Job summary

The City of Aurora, through Aurora Water, is seeking a Senior Water Treatment Maintenance Specialist to support the operation, maintenance, and control of complex water facilities. This role involves equipment repair, system monitoring, and hands-on leadership within a skilled maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years in water or wastewater treatment operation and maintenance.
• Preferred: 5 years’ skilled labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facilities and determines repair needs.
• Leads maintenance of water/wastewater equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance of pumps, tanks, and piping.
