Job summary

Grundfos GmbH is seeking a Service Representative II to service a range of water treatment technologies, from aeration mixers to membrane systems. You will mentor junior technicians, deliver training, and ensure high-quality customer experiences across sites.

You will perform startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting for electrical rotating equipment and membrane systems, with travel up to 75% and residence in Texas. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work and CRM/SharePoint documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting water treatment systems.
• Ability to mentor Level I technicians and build training materials.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver startup, commissioning, customer training, and troubleshooting for midrange electrical rotating equipment (aeration mixers, deaerators, water softening systems).
• Conduct startup, commissioning, and seeding for advanced membrane-based systems (MBR/RO).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues including PLC panel troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Support retrofits across water treatment systems to enhance functionality and longevity.
• Diagnose and resolve moderate mechanical/electrical PLC panel issues to maintain reliability.
• Create training documentation for all Newterra product lines (policies, procedures, PowerPoints).
• Mentor Level I technicians, document root causes, and track service via CRM/SharePoint.
• Coordinate travel schedules and onsite service visits; participate in handoffs with PMs and end users.
