Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer in the Water team to help deliver water treatment facilities of moderate to high complexity across the Southeast United States. You will lead design teams, potentially sign and seal drawings as engineer-of-record, and ensure designs meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include design review for compliance, water quality analyses, and contributing to technical knowledge through papers and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required or eligible for licensure.
• 10 years of related experience in environmental engineering.
• Domestic travel 20%–40% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to design and deliver water treatment facilities and related water infrastructure.
• Review draft designs and reports for regulatory compliance and seal designs as engineer of record when applicable.
• Develop technical design documentation and contribute to knowledge management and publications.
• Collaborate with sales staff to respond to RFPs and engage with clients and stakeholders.
