Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks an Experienced Water Resources / Stormwater Engineer to advance stormwater, water resources, and environmental infrastructure projects from planning through construction support.

You will collaborate with civil engineers, geologists, and scientists to develop practical, technically sound solutions using H&H modeling, GIS, and data-driven tools for resilient infrastructure decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil/stormwater/water resources experience.
• Proficient with major H&H tools: EPA-SWMM, InfoWorks, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS.
• Proficient CAD/GIS: AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS.
• Strong writing, coordination, and client-facing skills.
• Experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and model setup for systems.
• Assist planning/design of stormwater and water resources projects.
• Develop calculations, plans, specs, cost estimates, and permit docs.
• Lead or assist as project lead; manage scopes, schedules, QA/QC.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Support proposals with technical approaches and cost estimates.
• Travel to project sites and client locations as needed.
