Benesch Alfred & Co. seeks a Water Resources Project Manager with extensive experience delivering water resource projects nationwide.

You will design and analyze open and closed storm drainage systems for transportation projects, including hydrology, hydraulics, culvert sizing, open channels, bridge hydraulics, scour, and floodplain analyses. The role involves supporting the civil-rail and structural-rail design group, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
  • 12-16 years of transportation drainage experience.
  • PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydraulic and hydrology analyses for transportation projects.
  • Prepare drainage reports in conformance with client and industry standards.
  • Assist with plan production related to drainage design, stormwater management, detention facilities, water quality/MS4, quantities, and specifications.
  • Contribute to project goals and milestones, and monitor project progress.
  • Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, studies, reports, construction drawings/plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of stormwater design and planning projects.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality engineering documents.
  • Adhere to internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking.
  • Assist with project pursuits.
