Job summary

Brudis & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for the Water Resources and Environmental Department in Columbia, MD. The role oversees engineering design projects, staffing, scope and fee proposals, technical writing, and client management.

Collaboration with senior staff and marketing efforts is essential. The ideal candidate brings a PE in Maryland, 12+ years in water resources, and strong leadership with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Water Resources and Environment Engineering, with at least 2 years as a project manager.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Maryland or ability to reciprocity.
• Experience on Water Resources and Environment projects for federal, state, county, city, or local municipalities.
• Proficient in engineering design principles and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineer of record for project development plans, specs and estimates.
• Oversee design teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Prepare scope and task proposals, billing and man-hour estimates.
• Report project status to senior staff and clients/sub-consultants.

BS in Civil, Water Resources, Biological Resources, or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline
