Job summary

Singhofen Halff in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Professional Water Resources Engineer with a Florida PE license to join our Water Resources team. You will develop designs for FDOT, FEMA, water districts and local municipalities, and collaborate with clients to deliver cost-effective, sustainable stormwater solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, have at least 3 years in flood risk education and planning, and possess ICPR4/Stormwise and ArcGIS skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Water Resources designs for FDOT, FEMA, water districts and municipalities.
• Conduct flood risk education and planning for stormwater infrastructure.
• Collaborate with design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects.
• Assist in workload management of engineers and technical staff.
• Build client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout projects.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Assist in defining project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review water resources designs for accuracy.
