The position is full-time, hybrid, and requires collaboration with stakeholders to deliver sustainable water resources solutions throughout the state.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with Water Resources specialization.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years in water resources-related work.
• Experience developing and reviewing H&H models at local and watershed scales.
• Experience with H&H models such as ICPR/StormWise, EPA SWMM, XP-SWMM, HEC-HMS, or HEC-RAS.
• Experience with ESRI GIS software.
• Experience managing projects including client relations, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead for a variety of water resources projects.
• Manage water resources planning and design projects with budgets and schedules.
• Prepare fee proposals, scopes, and work plans.
• Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Conduct watershed studies, stormwater analyses, and flood-risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership in model development and implementation.
• Prepare engineering reports and design documents.
• Lead investigations and coordinate project teams.
