Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Florida PE license or EI (Florida)
• 3+ years in flood risk education/planning and stormwater design
• Experience with FEMA, FDOT, Water Management Districts, FDEP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Develop water resources design projects for FDOT, FEMA, WMDs, FDEP, and local municipalities
• Perform flood risk education and planning and stormwater infrastructure design
• Collaborate with staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Assist in managing workload of design staff and budgets
• Build strong client relationships and ensure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Review water resources designs and detailed plans for accuracy
