Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Senior Water Resources Project Manager in Lake Mary, FL to lead high-dollar, complex projects across water resources disciplines. The role focuses on delivering quality results on schedule and budget, while guiding a multidisciplinary team and developing new business opportunities.

The candidate will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and subconsultants, and help drive the firm’s growth in public agencies and private clients across the region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in civil engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or to be obtained.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in water resources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with local county/state clients and project BD.
• Proficient in MS Office and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-dollar, complex water resources projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with disciplines and subconsultants to refine project scope and fees.
• Develop project plans and quality management plans; create schedules.
• Manage subconsultants and monitor progress, risks, and extra work orders.
• Prepare status reports, review invoices, and present to clients and leadership.
• Mentor team members and support business development activities.
