Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a senior leader to develop the water/wastewater practice in Fort Pierce, FL. You will oversee project delivery, staff development, quality control, and business development to grow the regional water group.

Responsibilities include coordinating growth plans, leading proposals, managing the department budget, and acting as a technical resource for project teams while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer License (FL) is required or preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in a specialized water/wastewater discipline; experience in project management and business development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders.
• Establish and grow market presence in the area through marketing and business development.
• Manage financial budget for the department and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and contribute to the production of proposals.
• Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and staff.
• Establish staffing needs and interview/hire staff for the section.
• Perform performance reviews and provide coaching to staff.
