HDR seeks a Senior Integrated Water Resources Planner/Engineer to join our Water Resources team. Lead planning efforts for water supply, flood risk management, and environmental restoration on federal projects; mentor staff and manage medium-sized programs within larger efforts.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in complex environmental planning, strong writing/communication, and ability to collaborate with clients and peers across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities.
• Experience with environmental impact issues, permitting processes and documentation.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium- to large-size planning and environmental compliance projects for the federal government.
• Prepare, plan and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct work of others in completion of studies, documents and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience.
• Perform other duties as needed.
