Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Managing Engineer to lead complex water resources projects, including fisheries, hydropower, dams, and flood control.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate multi‑discipline teams, and drive design from concept through commissioning. The role requires 18+ years in civil/hydraulic engineering, PE registration, and experience with water resource infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 18+ years of experience in civil, and/or hydraulic engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration required (California PE preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships and opportunities.
• Lead multi‑discipline teams on water resources projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and costs with change control.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and project organization.
• Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Design water infrastructure including stormwater, water treatment, and pump stations.
