Job summary

Anonymous seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer - Team Lead to guide the planning, design, and delivery of complex water resources projects, including H&H modeling, stormwater management, irrigation systems, flood mitigation, watershed studies, river restoration, and dam/reservoir rehabilitation.

Lead hydrologic/hydraulic modeling with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM/PCSWMM; manage budgets, schedules, and client relations; supervise engineers and EITs; contribute to business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or related ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years of water resources engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong experience in H&H modeling, stormwater, floodplain, and watershed projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS/QGIS.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Knowledge of FEMA, USACE, state, and local permitting processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM/PCSWMM.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
• Serve as the primary client contact and lead technical meetings and presentations.
• Oversee design reports, PS&E packages, permitting applications, and QA/QC reviews.
• Mentor and develop engineers and EITs while balancing team workloads.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide construction-phase support.
• Support business development, proposals, and client account growth.
