Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer in a hybrid role to lead planning, analysis, and design of hydraulic, stormwater, drainage, and flood management projects for public and private clients in the Southeast. The candidate will mentor junior staff and support project delivery while engaging with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil/water resources or related field.
• PE license required.
• 7+ years of relevant water resources experience.
• Experience leading technical tasks and coordinating project delivery.
• Ability to travel occasionally for project/client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic and hydrologic design for water resources projects.
• Develop drainage, flood mitigation, watershed and stormwater management solutions.
• Prepare and seal designs per regulations.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses for planning and design.
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments.
• Prepare reports, drainage studies, and memoranda.
• Support construction administration activities.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in proposals, scope development and client presentations.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
