Stantec is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for its Denver/Salt Lake City/Phoenix footprint. You will lead the mining water resources practice, guide project delivery, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and quality standards across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes mine water management, site planning, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for growth within the Mining, Minerals and Metals business line. Travel may be required.

Formación

• 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in water resources/ mining projects.
• Experience leading and developing teams and project delivery.
• Subject matter expert in mine water management and related regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and advise on technical aspects of mining projects and proposals.
• Develop and maintain the water resources team's technical practice and quality standards.
• Provide technical delivery leadership across diverse projects for clients.
• Build productive relationships with internal teams and priority clients.
• Manage all project phases including budgeting, planning, design, and closure.
• Mentor staff and promote safe work practices and policy adherence.
• Support brand awareness through thought leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Apply mine water management, feasibility studies, and regulatory compliance.
