Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer in a full-time, hybrid role based at a Worley U.S. office.

You will lead complex water resources projects across North America, provide technical leadership in hydrology and hydraulics, and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. The role emphasizes client advisory services, business development, and collaboration with experts across mining, refining, chemicals, infrastructure, and environmental markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources specialization.
• PE designation or eligibility to obtain registration.
• 15+ years of progressive consulting experience in water resources.
• Experience leading water resources projects in mining, refining, chemicals, industrial, municipal or environmental sectors.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and client satisfaction focus.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and drive business value.
• Expertise in water resources engineering, modeling, drainage design, flood risk, and watershed management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex water resources projects with safety, quality, schedule, and budget focus.
• Provide technical leadership in hydrology, hydraulics, surface water management, watershed planning and flood risk assessment.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior engineers and scientists.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Support business development through proposals, client engagement, and market awareness.
• Collaborate with sector leaders across mining, refining, chemicals, infrastructure, and environmental markets.
• Apply advanced modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim, SWMM, and PCSWMM.
• Oversee dam safety assessments, flood studies, drainage analyses, and related investigations.
