Worley is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead technical projects and advisory services across North America. The role combines engineering excellence with commercial awareness and people leadership to drive successful project delivery and growth.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and help expand Worley Consulting’s water services portfolio while maintaining focus on health, safety, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources focus.
• PE designation or eligibility to obtain registration.
• 15+ years of progressive consulting and engineering experience in water resources.
• Experience leading water management projects in mining, refining, chemicals, or environmental sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex water resources projects with safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Provide technical leadership in hydrology, hydraulics, surface water management, watershed planning, stormwater, and water infrastructure.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior engineers/scientists.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Support business development through proposals, client engagement, and market awareness.
• Collaborate with sector leaders across mining, refining, chemicals, infrastructure, power, and environmental markets.
• Apply advanced water resources modeling with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim, SWMM, and PCSWMM.
• Lead dam safety assessments, dam breach studies, flood studies, and drainage assessments.
