Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Water Resources Engineer to lead water resources projects across multiple states. You will coordinate design efforts, perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and mentor junior staff on a range of DOT, municipal, and private sector assignments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience; P.E. licensure is preferred. You will work in a hybrid environment with opportunities across SC offices, including Columbia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred; master’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design development and provide technical direction of junior staff.
• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct large projects or engineering programs.
• Review and approve shop drawings; prepare design calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Lead and mentor staff; collaborate with clients and internal teams.
