Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our SC offices with hybrid/remote options. The role focuses on planning, design, and oversight of water resources projects across DOT, municipal, and private clients.

You will mentor junior staff and coordinate complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using leading software. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 10 years of experience, PE licensure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (AEC industry) and PE licensure.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water resources projects.
• Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects.
• Strong communication and client relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design, and construction oversight for DOT, municipal, and private clients in transportation and civil engineering.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, reports, and modeling for drainage and floodplain projects.
• Prepare construction drawings for water resources projects including drainage and stormwater systems.
• Coordinate design development and provide technical direction to junior staff.
• Develop proposals, scope definitions, and cost estimates within schedule and budget.
• Review field data, read technical documents, and ensure project compliance with standards.
