Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in the New England region. The role emphasizes hydraulics, river mechanics, and aquatic habitat restoration with extensive fieldwork and modeling using Civil 3D and ArcGIS.

Candidates should have 10+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience and a PE license, with flexibility for multiple NE office locations including Northampton, MA and NH sites.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in civil or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desktop and field studies for water resource projects.
• Support aquatic habitat restoration design: dam removal, culvert replacement, bridge hydraulics.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and write technical docs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality and accuracy of analyses.
