Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead hydrologic/hydraulic design and drainage projects across NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VA, and DE. You will coordinate with clients, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality plans on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and technical expertise in water resources engineering. Hybrid/remote options are available with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in stormwater management and watershed modeling.
• Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HY-8, HEC-HMS, SWMM.
• MicroStation and Geopak Drainage experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct large projects or engineering programs.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Read and interpret technical documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments for client relationship development.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise project teams.
• Attend project team meetings and report progress.
• Ensure projects comply with ISO standards.
