Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead design and oversight of water resources projects across multiple states, including NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VA, and DE. The role involves hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, coordination with junior staff, and delivering high-quality design work.

You will work with DOT and municipal clients, utilizing MicroStation, HEC‑RAS, and related tools, while supporting project budgets and schedules in a hybrid/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stormwater management and drainage design.
• Proficiency with HEC‑RAS, HY‑8, HEC‑HMS, SWMM.
• Experience with MicroStation/Geopak Drainage or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design, and oversight for transportation and civil water resources projects.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project teams.
• Coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants.
• Ensure projects comply with budgets and schedules.
• Read and interpret technical documents and ensure quality deliverables.
