Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead water resources projects across multiple South Carolina offices. The role requires coordinating design efforts, performing hydrology and hydraulics analyses, and delivering high-quality deliverables with timely project completion.

Preferred candidates hold a P.E. license, have at least 10 years of experience, and excel in mentoring staff, client coordination, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning, design, and management of water resources projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design, and construction oversight for DOT, municipal, and private clients in transportation and civil engineering.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic computations, reports, and modelling (drainage improvement, watershed evaluation, floodplain modelling).
• Design and prepare construction drawings for water resources projects (drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, bridge and culvert work).
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate design development; assist in multiple projects within schedule and budget.
